29 September 2008 – 17:31Did you know that I just had the time of my life in Lanzarote? I have stayed in the OCCIDENTAL GRAND TEGUISE PLAYA, in Costa Teguise and the location was just fabulous! The hotel is on the front line of the sea and offers a great value for money. I went all over this fabulous volcanic land with an excursion called GRAN TOUR and I think I have seen it all! It was just amazing..I was also going out quite every night in Puerto del Carmen where the nigthlife is tailored for all ages! Been to the San Miguel, that's a really good place and previously had a fantastic dinner in EMMAX, in Playa Honda well adviced by my friends residents on the Island.. wouah everything was so good!
Can't wait to be back...

Just had the most amazing time in Lanzerote. Most people write reviews that are full of moans and groans ‘this was wrong’ ‘food awful’ etc.
WELL NOT ME…..!!!! Stayed at Hotel San Antonio and the whole experience was wonderful.
Hired a car and visited the WHOLE island leaving us in absolute AWE most of the time.
Few things for the brits….. local drivers aren’t too friendly and there is no legal requirement for them to stop at Zebra crossings! But the taxi’s are cheap and easy to use - if its got a green light on the roof just flag it down.
Found a fantastic ENLISH BAR in the OLD TOWN near the harbour with a great Manchester Barman called Chris who sells San Miguel at 1.50 euros a pint! All night every night!! Also a huge selection of british spirits and shots.
The nightlife on the strip was also great and a must visit place is the ROUTE66 bar restaurant which has a stunning display of motorcycles - Harleys included - along with an old fashioned train that circles above your head. Staff were fun, music was perfect (being a 80s disco girl)sangria was exceptional and watching the robbie williams lookalike PR man trying to cheekily encourage people inside was entertainment in itself.

Lanzarote is just great…I have been living on the Island for 4 years now and nothing’s missing… furthermore we have the best web ever! thanks guys
