Presided over by the Guanapay Castle, the Villa de Teguise is a white, cobble stoned and stately town and is the only designated “historic-artistic” site on the island. Every Sunday morning Teguise is transformed into a street market where groups of local singers enliven the trade in crafts, cheeses and home made breads.
The Emporium, a young avant-garde enterprise located in the town’s old cinema, specialises in the importation of oriental home furnishings and decorative articles.
Lanzametal 2006 is a biennial fair drawing from different sectors: industrial machinery, computers, leisure, automotive… including a full programme of complementary activities.
