The Timanfaya National Park is the result of volcanic eruptions that occurred between 1730 and 1736 leaving behind hundreds of craters that today can be marvelled at. The last time it erupted was in 1824.

Visitors can see how a little water can be transformed into a shooting geyser or how shrubs burst into flames upon nearing one of these ground holes. You’ll also see a strange way of cooking food using only heat from the earth.
