The Haemodialysis Service looks after the periodic treatment of patients with kidney, hypertension and other vascular access problems.
Its modern Fresenius dialysis monitors with controlled ultrafiltration use bicarbonate tampons and can accommodate both unipuncture and bipuncture lines.
The filters used are of Fresenius polysulfone and are gamma ray sterilised. |
Only persons who are HIV-negative and Hepatitis B-negative may receive dialysis.

Patients are placed in comfortable electronically controlled armchairs in well ventilated areas with a view, and air conditioning; as well there is a translation service in various languages so that patient stay at HOSPITEN is as pleasant as possible.
Four private stations make the dialysis process convenient for those who wish to travel or enjoy their vacation while in Lanzarote. |
