The Athlantic Blue Marlin (Makaira Nigricans)
As from the end of May until the beginning of November the great blue Marlin visits the Lanzarote waters. The main specification of this fish in the Atlantic waters is the huge size that it reaches, being very common that it's weight exceeds 600 lb.
As members of the Billfish Foundation we practice tag and release.
Leerfish (Lichia Amia). It lives in the Mediterranean and East Atlantic, along the coasts of the Spain and Africa.

It is a migratory and coastal fish found in small schools near the shoals and reefs. It attacks aggressively artificial and alive bait. Its maximum weight is 50 kg.
