After Tenerife and Gran Canaria, San Juan will hand out $75,000 in prizes, which makes this Canary qualifier one of the most important on the European calendar.
From October 16th to the 22nd, San Juan will determine the final classification for the EPSA Circuit and will award major points for the WQS as well as once again demonstrating its high organisational level and quality of the surfers while taking one more step toward the Canary’s entry into the elite surfing world.

Jesús Aguayo, organiser of the Lanzarote qualifier, points out that “Lanzarote has what it takes to be a world class power”, and is backed by the approval of the surfers who visit this Island to compete at San Juan.
“The competitors dream about the conditions we have here and we have the most essential, the means”.
The means and the unconditional support of the public institutions.
|
This qualifier had previously relied on the backing of the multinational Rip Curl, but since 2005, La Santa has taken on the entire organisation.
But not everything will be surf.

The organisation has prepared a skate competition and another for beach football that will award prizes worth € 2.000 and € 1.500, respectively, and will be held on the 21st and 22nd of October on San Juan beach.
And neither will everything be sports.
On Saturday, the 21st, “Seguridad Social” and “Los Secretors” will give a concert at Caleta de Famara.
Undoubtedly, San Juan beach now awaits the best surf.
