MALPAIS 2010 – FROM THE 26TH OF MARCH TO 22ND OF MAY
12 April 2010 – 14:32The Malpaís Festival starts from 26th March until the 22nd May with a variety of street theatre, entertainment, comedy shows and live music concerts based in and around Arrecife´s streets, Lanzarote. Read on for the full programme of events:
* 23rd April 2010 – Barricada* Spanish rock group but their sound is more biased towards punk rock and heavy metal. At the Recinto Ferial (time to be confirmed)
*30th April 2010 – Voalá * Voalá are a stunning acrobatic group combining the skills of sky diving and ballet to perform amazing air choreography with live music! At Plaza Pío XII de Titeroy (time to be confirmed)
* 6th, 7th & 8th May 2010 – Circo Activo* Circo Activo are a street theatre company. Their 40 minute clown shows are full of humour, acrobatics and live music. At Venue and time to be confirmed.
* 6th, 7th & 8th May 2010 – Pep Bruno * Pep Bruno is an accomplished author and storyteller. -Thursday 6th May 7pm children and family, Thursday 6th Mary 9.30pm Adults , Friday 7th May 6pm children and family, Saturday 8th May midday children and family (Location to be confirmed)
* 21st & 22nd May 2010 – Elliot & The Chanclettes* The following two shows will be closing the Malpaís festival in Parque Ramírez Cerda (time to be confirmed)

The Chanclettes
The Chanclettes are a duo using comedy theatre to entertain. Taking the absurd and vulgar and mixing it with a dose of glamour the pair have been performing for 15 years.
The Malpaís Festival 2010 has something for everyone with two months of comedy entertainment in Arrecife, Lanzarote.
