Puerto del Carmen, located 10 minutes from the airport, has grown from a small fishing village to one of the most important tourist spots on the island. It offers more than 6km of golden beaches with clear waters, and a large choice of hotels.
There is a full range of services and numerous amusement centres along the extensive Marítima Avenue: shops, commercial centres (Biosfera), restaurants, bars, discos and in general a lively nightlife.
