The Tinajo Hermitage is dedicated to the Virgin of the Volcanoes, also known as the Virgin of Dolores, attributed to the miracle that she performed during the 1736 eruption in which she held back the rivers of lava that were heading toward the town.
La Santa, located within the recreation sport centre Club La Santa, is an artificial beach with 900 metres of fine white sand, an enclosed lake of calm waters, perfect for learning to windsurf.
