The La Casona Restaurant can be found in one of the most beauitiful spots in the Canary Islands, within a unique setting close to the Timanfaya National Park and the fabulous Papagayo beaches in Yaiza Municipality on the southern side of Lanzarote.
The history of this house dates back to 1825 when a landowner had his summer residence built overlooking the Fenauso Valley. |
This large rural manor is a fine example of the clean lines that characterised Lanzarote architecture during that era.

Today, three art lovers, along with a great group of professionals and artisans, have given new life to what is now "Hotel and Restaurant La Casona de Yaiza".
In order to pay homage to the century in which the house was constructed, the artist, Germán Carrégalo, has decorated the interior in the style of the Italian Rennaissance and the Spanish painters belonging to the Roman School. |
