The sunset light of Lanzarote is almost indescribable. At the end of the afternoon you can begin to see a delicate light appearing between the different mountains of the island. On the horizon, the sun bids farewell every day with an orange hue of film.

Mirador del Río

It is probably the most famous viewpoint on the island, and it here is why! It’s more than 470 meters abovesea level, from where you can contemplate the best views of the Chinijo archipelago. However, due to its altitude you will not be able to get there on foot, you will need your own vehicle to get to the top. Head towards the northwestern tip of the island and let yourself be surprised by the immensity of this spectacular horizon .

Viewpoint of Haría

In the middle of the LZ10 road (towards the Valleys) you will find this famous viewpoint from which you can contemplate the landscapes and cliffs that surround Haría and the Temisa valley. Due to its height, you must reach it in your own vehicle to enjoy incredible views of this part of the island.

Viewpoint of Los Helechos

At more than 557 m of altitude, the Mirador de Los Helechos offers an unbeatable panoramic viewof the town of Haría and its famous valley of palm trees. From this viewpoint you can also contemplate the eastern coast of Lanzarote and the town of Tabayesco.

Viewpoint of Guinate

In the north center of the island is the Mirador de Guinate. At about 500 m high, this viewpoint stands out for having a balcony on the edge of the cliff, a feature that will allow you to enjoy unbeatable views of the sea.

Very close to the beach El Ancla is the viewpoint of Costa Teguise, also known as the Mirador del Mar. It is a tourist area with terrace and free parking areas.
