Although the steepest areas are well signposted and protected, we recommend that you don’t let your little ones out of your hand to prevent them from leaning out too far to see the sea. For this reason, we recommend that, if you visit Jameos del Agua with babies, you do so without a trolley or ask for help to move it correctly at these two points. The rest of the visit is not difficult to do with a baby or small children. 

4. El Charco Verde

Also known as the Charco de Los Clicos, this is another of the open-air landscapes that is worth visiting with children as the peculiar greenish tone of the lagoon attracts their attention. It is located very close to Los Hervideros and El Golfo, a village well worth a visit.

5. Teguise

Teguise is one of the most picturesque and welcoming villages on the island of Lanzarote. Very close to the well-known surfing village of Famara, you will find this beautiful place that on Sunday mornings has the biggest street market on the island. Teguise is also the perfect place to enjoy live music, typical dances, handicrafts, and local products for the little ones. 

6. La Cueva de los Verdes

This is another of the island’s most popular tourist attractions. This large volcanic tube, more than 7 km long, is open to the public so that it can be visited comfortably by everyone. It has easy and comfortable access for visitors with babies. As the cave has some narrow corridors, we recommend that you leave the pram behind and visit the place with your child in your arms. Be careful as in some areas the ceiling is too low.

7. Playa Papagayo

This is one of the most paradisiacal beaches on the island of Lanzarote. Neighbouring Playa Blanca, in the area of Playa Papagayo you will find a cove with the same name. To get there, you will have to do it by car and we recommend that you do it early in the morning to ensure the entrance to the beach. To access the beach you will have to go down a few stairs so we recommend you leave your trolley at the accommodation. When it’s time to eat, you can do so at one of the beach bars in the surrounding coves.
