Tinajo

Tinajo is a small town that stands out for its amazing natural environment in which lava continues to have a leading role. Due to the volcanic eruptions that occurred between 1730 and 1824, Tinajo has become a unique place to visit. 

Let yourself be carried away by any of its streets and discover the Hermitage of the Virgen de los Dolores and the Church of San Roque, one of the most touristic points of the town of Tinajo.

La Caleta de Famara

Today the Caleta de Famara is not a town known only for surfers in search of good waves. This small coastal fishing village has become the fashionable site of the island for its good atmosphere, scenic beauty and, of course, for its great charm. 

The dunes at the end of the village, its sandy roads, its surfing atmosphere, and the white houses facing the sea make Caleta de Famara a mandatory stop on all tours of the island.   Don’t forget to take a dip in its kilometre long beach and visit its small hermitage facing the sea!

Teguise

Teguise is the inland town with the highest number of visits every year. Strolling down the well-kept streets of Teguise is a real treat for tourists visiting the town for the first time: white houses, Canarian architecture, cobbled streets, craft shops and small restaurants that hide in any corner of the town. In addition, every Sunday you can enjoy its open-air market, one of the most loved plans by tourists and locals for the weekend. 

Saint Bartholomew

Located in the center of the island, it is another of those towns that you should not miss. From there you can enjoy a unique image of vineyards and typical hamlets of La Geria. 

The House of the Greater War and the Ajei House are worth a visit.  You can end the day at Playa Honda, very close to the center of San Bartolomé.

Femés

If you are looking for the contrast between the beach and the mountains, in the picturesque village of Femés you can see with your own eyes the landscape contrasts that the island of Lanzarote offers. Being at the top of the mountain of the Ajaches, you can enjoy some unbeaten views from Femés.  Inside you can visit the Balcony of Femés and the hermitage of San Marcial del Rubicón.
