General Conditions for the Twizy Tour Guided Routes with the company Ego Excursions S.L.
1. - The first thing the participant must be clear about is that, in the event of an accident, if the cause of the accident is a violation of the rules and instructions detailed below, the organizing company will not be held responsible for any damages the participant may have caused, whether to private property, third parties, or themselves.
2. - The company reserves the right to claim compensation from the participant for any misuse of the company's vehicles and any possible damage caused to them.
3. - The customer participates in this activity of their own free will and decision.
4. - The organizing company has the necessary insurance to carry out this activity, including civil liability and traffic insurance. These insurances will only apply if the instructions in this manual are followed.
5. - The guide's instructions must be followed to the letter at all times.
6. - Failure to comply with the previous rule may result in the immediate termination of the activity, without necessarily entitling any member of the excursion to a refund of the amount paid.
7. - Before starting the excursion, the guide will provide a detailed explanation of the vehicle's controls and how to use them. The excursion will not begin until all participants understand these concepts.
8. - To carry out this activity, it is necessary to show great respect for the natural environment and the routes we travel on. This means we will stay on the indicated paths, avoiding going off-road and causing unnecessary damage.
9. - Participants must be aware that this is not a competition, but a sports-tourism excursion. This means we will start on easy routes that allow users to familiarize themselves with and adapt to the vehicle. Depending on participants' progress, the guide will direct the excursion to the most suitable routes for their level, and may also indicate stops to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and/or rest.
10. - Any waste generated at any stop along the route, including paper, wrappers of any kind, water bottles, and even cigarette butts, must not be thrown on the ground. We are in nature and must respect it as much as possible; therefore, they must return with us.
11. - To carry out this activity, participants must have previously paid for the excursion and must bring their B1 driving license with them.
12. - Participants must take care of the materials provided by the organization for the activity at all times. If intentional damage is observed, the responsible party will be liable for the cost.
13. - The guide will establish an order of travel based on participants' adaptation to the vehicle. This order is meant to ensure a smoother group flow, with the pace set by the participant who is having the most difficulty adapting. This order is non-negotiable. Overtaking is also prohibited, as it can pose a risk to the rest of the group. Any reckless driving practices, such as skidding, are strictly prohibited. If the guides observe violent driving by any group member, they have the discretion to terminate the route without a refund.
14. - It is equally important to maintain the safety distance indicated by the guide to avoid accidents and/or unnecessary collisions.
15. - This activity is considered an adventure sport and, as such, always carries a minimum level of risk. Since each participant drives an individual vehicle, its operation is solely their responsibility, and each driver is obligated to drive with the utmost caution.
16. - It is strictly forbidden to drive our vehicles under the influence of alcohol and/or any type of narcotic or psychotropic substances. People undergoing treatment with medications that may impair their driving ability must inform the organizers before the excursion.
17. - Overtaking, driving side by side, leaving excessive distance to accelerate abruptly, not respecting safety distances, skidding, and any behavior that may result in reckless driving are strictly prohibited. Dirt roads are also public roads. Drivers must keep their hands on the steering wheel/handlebars and their feet on the footrests at all times. Pay special attention to distractions from observing the scenery while driving, as this can lead to accidents with serious consequences. The company reserves the right, at the discretion of the monitors, to suspend the route if the rules are not followed.
