Playa de La Garita is one of the main beaches in the north of the island. Due to its unique location, this coastal area is “shielded” from the fierce winds which blow across many of the beaches in the north.

It is a long strip of golden sand (almost 1km long), making the ideal place to enjoy as a family.

Where is Playa de La Garita?

It is located in the town of Arrieta, in the municipality of Haria. This beach is on the northeast coast of Lanzarote, a rugged coastline which is beaten by high winds. However, thanks to its location this beach is protected from the winds and waves, though you must always be careful.
