Natural pools
As we have already mentioned, Punta Mujeres is famous for its innumerable natural pools. The locals have covered many of them with stones, like a wall, to make it safer and not have to worry too much about the waves. One of the best known pools is in Punta de las Rosas, which is well protected from the waves.

The town of Punta Mujeres has a lot of charm, it is a perfect place to walk and contemplate its traditional houses. We recommend you go to see the sculpture of the “Molino Salinero“.
Due to its geographical location, Punta Mujeres is very close to some of Lanzarote’s tourist attractions.
The town is located on the southern edge of the Corona Volcano, considered a protected natural monument of Lanzarote. This impressive natural space has a 600-meter-high volcanic cone and the badlands (lava) that originated in its eruption and that has extended from its base to the coast. The volcano has easy access so you can climb it with a good pair of shoes.
Due to this eruption, incredible natural enclaves were formed such as the famous Jameos del Agua and the Cueva de los Verdes. These natural wonders are located just 2 kilometers from Punta Mujeres. If you are visiting this town, we encourage you to go visit them and discover why they are famous.
