Where to Eat In Tías

Tías is a town located in the center-south of Lanzarote, in one of the most touristic areas of the island's coastline. It is one of the towns where we can best get to know the typical country life and that can be appreciated in its gastronomy.

To know the traditional food of the island in Tías is a wonderful experience, especially if you like tuna and octopus. Although the meat also pairs perfectly with a good local wine.

Most popular places to eat in Tías

On the Central Avenue of Tias you can find some of the best-known restaurants in town. In La Casona Restaurant they offer a wide variety of meat, fish and Italian food. Don’t miss their tuna with onions, vegetables and potatoes, a delight!

On the same street you can try all kinds of tapas and raciones if you choose La Ermita Tapas Bar, with very elaborate pinchos, among which we can’t fail to mention their delicious cheese with strawberry and cilantro sauce!

The restaurant El Risco, in La Caleta de Famara, has a terrace with incredible views, where you can taste Canarian food with a touch of modernity. The scrambled wreckfish, grilled octopus and crepes stuffed with seafood and spinach will whet anyone’s appetite.

Eat cheaply in Tías

La Ermita Tapas Bar is a place where to have a good and cheap meal in Tías but there are also other very affordable and good quality places like the restaurant Arrayate un Millo, with highly recommended cod croquettes, not to mention the banana croquettes with passion fruit sauce. Finger licking good!

Also take note of the sandwiches at La Conejera or the Bar Tres Conchas ‘El Pelao’.
