Those wanting an adventure can enjoy a thrill packed day taking in the whole island for around €60-70 per person. The itinerary will take you to see the island’s main attractions, both natural and manmade, with admission included in the price. 

The tour leaves from Cueva de los Verdes, close to Punta Mujeres, and includes a visit to the Jameos del Agua, the Mirador del Río, as well as a tour of the La Geria bodegas, before venturing into the Timanfaya National Park, which is home to the island’s main volcanos, it even includes a 20 minute camel ride. The tour ends by taking you south where you can see the area’s salt flats and coastal lagoons before heading back to the start point. The tour lasts for over eight hours and allows you to discover and enjoy the entire island.

If you are short for time or are a bit overwhelmed by the thought of seeing the whole island in just one day and would prefer to do so at your own pace, there are other options available. There are various tours both in the north and south of the island, each offering a truly unique experience. To the north we can visit the Jameos del Agua, the Cueva de los Verdes, and if we head to the Mirador del Río we can catch a ferry to La Graciosa.

While in the south of the island there are tours to the Timanfaya National Park, where you can enjoy a camel ride for the modest price of €6-10 per person. The lagoons and salt flats form part of the island’s unique southerly landscape, complementing the famous sandy beaches of Playa Mujeres and Playa del Papagayo.
