The best whale watching offers in Lanzarote
Lanzarote is one of the best places in Spain to spot whales and dolphins. While success is not always guaranteed, it is well worth heading out to the high seas to spot these animals on a tour.
- Isla de Lobos Tour: Make the most of your trip to Isla de Lobos to take a tour out to try and see some whales on the high seas. The final stop on this tour is a protected natural park, so you’ll especially enjoy this tour if you manage to see some wild dolphins on the way. If you’re really lucky, they may even follow your boat for a while! At Puerto del Carmen you’ll find plenty of “adventure package” options to take a boat out whale watching.
- Snorkel with dolphins: if you would prefer to snorkel alongside these beautiful creatures, you can with tours available at several places on the island. In addition to taking a boat out to spot dolphins, you will stop off to head down to the seabed with your snorkel, and maybe see some dolphins!

The price of whale watching in Lanzarote depends on the type of tour you want and the company you choose. In terms of the two options listed above, snorkelling is around half the price of the tour to Isla de Lobos.
