Through the 33 tanks that the Lanzarote Aquarium has, we want to bring families closer to the great diversity of species that inhabit our seas. They will discover the best-kept secrets of many of the animals living in the Aquarium… A very fun way to learn and enjoy about the ecosystem that surrounds us! But not only will they get to know the Atlantic species, but also in our tropical seas room, they will encounter famous friends like Nemo, Dory, and many tropical species that inhabit warm ecosystems. They will also be able to enjoy the sharks in our underwater tunnel, with a central tank of 500,000 liters of water, and the 3 touch tanks where they can touch and learn more about some intertidal species.
From the Lanzarote Aquarium, we not only want children to enjoy getting to know the seabed but also to learn about environmental conservation through environmental education and to learn to respect nature.

Important Information
Opening Hours: Open every day from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the last entry at 5:15 pm.
The family ticket, which includes entry for 2 adults and 2 children, is available for only €45. Babies from 0 to 3 years old enter for free!
What will you see at the Lanzarote Aquarium?
In this aquarium, you will have the unique opportunity to admire typical Canarian species, such as moray eels, breams, gilt-head breams, and triggerfish. In addition, you will be amazed by the colorful morphology and beautiful colors of tropical species. You can also find clownfish, anemones, fire gobies, pufferfish, and hermit crabs.
One of the main attractions of the aquarium is its underwater tunnel, where you can enjoy a close experience with sharks and other fascinating marine creatures, all in a central tank containing 500,000 liters of water!

At the Lanzarote Aquarium, you will not only observe marine wonders but also live tactile experiences. We have 3 touch tanks for adults and children, where you can touch and get to know species like sea urchins and sea cucumbers up close. Learning has never been so much fun!

At the Lanzarote Aquarium, we have a clear mission: to bring the marine world closer to all people who wish to appreciate its beauty and enjoy a unique moment of immersion in the depths of the sea. However, we do not forget the importance of environmental education for the future of our seas and oceans.
For this reason, we have created what we call the “trash aquarium,” a small recreation of the current state of certain coastal areas, with the purpose of promoting environmental awareness and ensuring that marine life continues without the dangers of pollution.
Conditions for your visit
Once you purchase the tickets, remember that you can only make changes up to 24 hours before the scheduled date of your visit. We recommend verifying the accuracy and adequacy of the information entered before completing the purchase.
Access to the aquarium will be available up to 45 minutes before closing, so you will have plenty of time to enjoy your visit. Once inside, you can stay as long as you like until the aquarium closes!
Also, you do not need to print the tickets. You can access the tour simply by showing the tickets on your mobile device or tablet.
Age verification at the ticket office
To ensure the application of the corresponding rates, the age of the customers will be visually verified at the ticket office of the Aquarium. In cases where there are doubts about the age, an identification document (ID card or Family Book in its absence) will be requested from the customer or the responsible adult. If there is any difference between the applicable rate and the paid ticket rate, the customer will be charged the corresponding amount.
