Immerse yourself in a unique adventure that will take you to discover the fascinating southern area of the island of Lanzarote. Here, during six intense years in the 18th century, the last volcanic eruptions took place, leaving an indelible mark on the landscape.
Our exciting guided route through southern Lanzarote begins by heading towards El Golfo, where you will have the opportunity to descend on foot to “El Charco de los Clicos“, an impressive green lagoon surrounded by majestic cliffs. This place is also known for housing Olivine, a beautiful semi-precious green stone found in the rocks.
Next, we will venture into Timanfaya National Park, a place known as the “Mountains of Fire“. There, we will take the Route of the Volcanoes, an essential experience during your visit to Lanzarote. The volcanic landscape you will find in Timanfaya is truly spectacular, reflecting the aftermath of eruptions that occurred almost 300 years ago. In addition, you will have the opportunity to witness geothermal demonstrations that will leave you amazed. And if you want an even more authentic experience, you can take a camel ride through the volcanic landscapes surrounding Timanfaya National Park (not included in the excursion price).
After enjoying a delicious lunch in Yaiza (lunch not included in the price), we will head towards La Geria, a recognized wine region where some of the finest wines with Designation of Origin from the Canary Islands are produced. Here, you will have the opportunity to delight your palate with a tasting of the exquisite local wines at one of the best wineries on the island.
