The Teatro Victor Fernández Gopar “El Salinero” is a cultural space funded by the Lanzarote Council. Lanzarote locals enjoy a range of theatre, concert and musical events in the building, which is dedicated to the visual and musical arts.

Information on the Teatro Victor Fernández Gopar “El Salinero”

This building is the restored version of the original concert hall used by the Lanzarote Musical School. In 2007, work was completed, and it was no longer part of the music school. It was then opened as the Teatro Insular de Lanzarote. In 2016, the Lanzarote Council voted to change the name to Victor Fernández Gopar “El Salinero”, in honour of the Lanzarote poet who died in Yaiza in 1920.
