The coast off Tinajo is considered one of the best areas in Europe for surfing.
The main industries are agriculture Tinajo (vines, fruit, onions), the sports tourism; surfing (located in the neighborhood of La Santa) and the Timanfaya National Park, which shares with the town of Yaiza. Significantly, in Mancha Blanca is the Chapel of Our Lady of the Volcanoes (Patroness of Lanzarote).
