Michelin star In Lanzarote

Although there are no Michelin star restaurants in Lanzarote, there are two iconic restaurants in the Michelin guide in the Bib Gourmand category, two references of the gastronomy of the Canary Islands that maintain the level of the famous red guide.

The best Michelin-starred restaurants in Lanzarote

The two Bib Gourmand restaurants in Lanzarote are El Risco and Lilium.

For more than a decade Pedro Nolla and Juan Jesús Perdomo have been receiving recognition for El Risco, located in La Caleta de Famara, a municipality belonging to the town of Teguise, in the northwest of the island. This restaurant is considered one of the best in the Canary Islands for its dedication towards local products.

The other jewel of the Michelin guide in Lanzarote is Lilium, Orlando Ortega’s restaurant, located in the capital, Arrecife, in the east of the island. Here the chef delights us with local products in all his dishes but with some very original touches from abroad.

One of the characteristics of the restaurants that receive the Bib Gourmand category in the Michelin Guide is that they are establishments that serve high quality cuisine at quite affordable prices.

This means that either of the two options are great to eat in Michelin restaurants in Lanzarote without having to spend too much money.

Both in El Risco and Lilium, the treatment of local produce is exquisite, their locations could not be more idyllic and discovering their cuisine is a highly recommended experience. All of this, at very good prices.
